RICHMOND, KY

...this is a great little venue and what really rocks is the fact that the people are so nice, easy going and really laid back... so I do two sets and it rocks - great PA, great coffee, and a lot of fun. Sometiimes you gotta be careful about the song selection 0 Paris Hilton didn't go over so well and it thined out a bit during the chorus but what the hey...

The electric set works out pretty good, and even for a young crowd it rocked hard and they jammed it up. Very fun, very cool... I am a few towns over from here saturday night, an' there are a few folks who came by to just check it out... earlier in the day I went by a local vintage clothing stores to check it out but no one came by as promised...

ROCKIN' RICHMOND

...that's ok. There is a very cool club next dooe to the livewire and at the end of the night I head over there for a look - it's big hair metal night and the place is pretty packed although it is getting empty fast... there just isn't a whole lot that can help to distinguishe this little slice of heaven - but it is remote, a long way from anywhere and so deliciously rural... gotta love it... I can't seem to get back to the best western fast enough... it is late but I have a few new songs running around my head and I need to get them out. Plus, when I set all the guitars up tonight I realized I left my sea-foam green Jay Jr. in Charlotte... that screws things because I'll need to go back thru there to pick it up... I really enjoy night driving so no big deal; now I just want to get back to the motel and fade out...
